UPDATE: Summer 2017 – DRC Orphanage Drive

The Foundation 4 Orphans is putting out a funding appeal for building a new orphanage in Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The total cost for this project this $200,000 and the orphanage, when constructed, will house 80 children. For the cost of $2,500, you can provide a roof over the head and a loving home for a child. Between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day in the United States, 100% of donated funds will go towards this project. The site has already been selected for this project – continuing on the successful best practice of community-based orphanages, the Lubumbashi orphanage is situated next to a grade school, medical, and church complex. Details are available on the video posted on the www.f4o.org homepage. You can also contact our Executive Director, Wayne Lavender, at wayne@f4o.org for any questions you might have about the project. Thank you very much for considering this project and for all you do on behalf of orphans and vulnerable children.
